Just got off the phone with Citra (Fla.) North Marion offensive tackle Zack Williams and he let me know that West Virginia evaluated him during the bye week and offered a scholarship Wednesday. Williams is a converted tight end that's in his first year playing offensive tackle with great size at 6-foot-6, 275-pounds, and running backs coach JaJuan Seider was the assistant that let him know that the Mountaineers were ready to offer him a scholarship. Williams is very interested in West Virginia and plans to make an official visit either the second weekend in December or Jan. 22 with his teammate and defensive end Jordan Woods. Right now West Virginia and Pittsburgh are the two favorites but one offer that could really shake things up is if childhood favorite Florida elects to join the party because right now they are showing strong interest. He also plans an official visit to Pittsburgh and will decide between the two schools where he feels the most comfortable and has the best physical therapy program.
