I love defensive football, so this is the most excited I've been in years. Always seems like we either have a great offense or defense, but not both at the same time. It got me thinking, on a scale of 1-10 for a "pre-season rating" and lets say you had 11 scale points to play with, would you rather have say a "1" for offense with a "10 defense"? The other way around? or more like a 6/5 ratio? I understand I wish it were a 10 on both sides, but for discussion sake, you only have 11 points. I would probably say an "8" for Defense, "3" for offense. I just think a solid defense can make a bad offense seem better than they are. In other words, a "3" offense on paper, would probably end the year looking better than that. Thoughts
