So, it's NSD 2016, and the Ear fan boys are busy going back & forth between the Herd & Ear message boards, comparing their recruits.

Here's reality:

WVU was ranked about 34th in the recruiting rankings, last I noticed, when I cared to scroll down that far.

Meanwhile:
Texas - 6th
TCU - 15th
Baylor - 19th
Oklahoma - 22nd
Texas Tech - 31st

keep scrolling

Ears - 34th

Odd, but typical for those that spend their late Novembers hoping to notch that 6th win, in hopes of playing at 3:00 a.m. in a bowl game that competes for viewers against Infomercials.

I will be brief and give you an old (like me) axiom for you to follow and it may...can't promise but may...save you some grief in your paltry everyday existence........"It is better to keep silent and let others think you are a fool than to open your mouth and confirm it"....so endeth the lesson

lol... I especially like the ones that say "had offers from numerous BCS programs"...

should really say "the moooo will roll the dice on this individual too..."

side note:
You need to be nominated by a Senator or a member of the House of Representatives to attend Army, Navy or the Air Force. So I'm calling BS on several of these recruits teams lists.

"As for grades, test scores and other considerations, the recruiting process often filters out players unable to meet the academies' high standards. For fully qualified players who fail to earn a nomination initially, it's possible to be selected from a waiting list that typically includes athletes and non-athletes."

"If players indeed get accepted, offers aren't typically extended until April, more than two months after National Signing Day. Coaches try to keep recruits assured of their status to ensure they're not waiting for something that may not happen, but without an official offer in hand there's always a risk."
