Baylor vs. Oklahoma is the only matchup of the top 4 Big 12 teams this week.

West Virginia plays 6th place Texas, which is always dangerous in Austin and is the ultimate hot-and-cold team in the Big 12 this season.

Oklahoma State gets 8th place Texas Tech, which has a ton of offense but no defense, which explains the Red Raiders’ 2-4 Big 12 record.

WVU has a trip to Texas, Oklahoma in Mountaineer Field, a trip to Iowa State and Baylor in Mountaineer Field. The Mountaineers should exceed their 4-year Big 12 average finish of 4-5. 6-3 would be nice. 8-1 would be fabulous!

Thanks for the birthday wish. My Mountaineers took care of the birthday song, my favorite one: I got to sing "Country Roads" in Mountaineer Field after the blowout against Kansas.

Great way to spend my 84th birthday. Dinner at the Olive Garden in Granville's University Town Centre with my sister, Jackie, from Rivesville and her daughter and my daughter, LaQuita, then on to Mountaineer Field to watch Tony Gibson and Skyler Howard work their magic again.

Victories over Texas (IN AUSTIN!), Oklahoma, at Iowa State and Baylor would be the icing on my birthday cake, and for Mountaineer Nation, too!
