Not that I'm a hater

That was early in the season. OU getting beat then is not relevant to the whole season. Lets wait to judge OU after the game against Auburn tonight. The point is the BIG 10 is constantly over rated.

Ohio state lost to Clemson which stomped Oklahoma the last 2 years in bowl games and if they played them again this year they would stomp them again. Not sure beating an 8-4 Auburn team means anything.

Why can't all these poor programs like Iowa, Ohio State, Michigan, Miami, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State etc measure up to the Mountaineers!! Our national championship trophy case is stuffed to the core. LOL. Get real. Talk smack after you have earned the right.

It was nice to think there would be a WVU national championship in my lifetime. Not going to happen so I could care less about the B1G.

Evidently the pollsters disagree with you. They have Auburn ranked 14.
Teams that are ranked 14 and have 4 losses traditionally don't go to the sugar bowl. The big ten didn't perform well but i doubt the big 12 teams would have much luck against Clemson and Florida state Look what happened to us when we played Miami. That same Miami team got stomped by Va tech i hope you know that.

My point is that the Big 12 is over rated and one good year for the ACC doesn't make them a powerhouse. The ACC has been a bottom feeder for years.

Yes Miami got beat by VT. They also go beat by Notre Dame who got beat by Texas. We beat Texas. It does no good to use that logic. Every game is different. Miami beat Georgia Tech and GT beat Virginia Tech. We could go on with examples that prove your statement means nothing.

That was in October during their 4 game skid. Do you seriously think Miami would lose to NC or ND if they played today?
Absolutely not. That is my point. I believe Miami would beat VT right now. So the statement that Miami lost to VT means nothing really. I don't think Houston could beat Oklahoma right now. Do you?

Talking trash on the Big 10 when Wvu got beat by Miami is pointless. Outside of K state no great wins this season.

What do you base that on? Miami didn't beat any of the Big dogs in the Acc. Is it because they beat wvu? Ohio State would still stomp Oklahoma.

Not talking trash at all. Just commented on your statement. I never even mentioned Big 10 anywhere at anytime. How did you get that out of my comment. Just don't like People trash talking WVU. Didn't mean to offend you.

No. Oklahoma improved quite a bit as the year went on. They had a lot of changes on defense.

My point was to ColoradoMountaineer not you (since he is the one that brought up VT).

That same VA Tech team who nearly won the ACC under a first year head coach.

You should give up.

How can the Big 12 be overrated when they are bashed regularly and normally the first conference left out of the playoff discussions? I would say they regularly exceed expectations as they did this bowl season. The Big 12 is constantly attacked for lack of defense but Big 12 teams held some really good offensive teams in check in the bowl games. It may just be that Big 12 offenses are better than in other conferences. The conferences that are overrated are the SEC, except Alabama, and the Big 10 for sure.

I meant to say the Big 10 is over rated not the Big 12. Sorry.

If the committee were picking based on bowl results the selections would be:
1. Bama
2. Clemson
3. OU
4. USC

Better potential match ups.

Why pick USC? Washington was competitive against Alabama.

To pick USC over Washington is exactly what they did in picking osu over Ped State.

If 7 points is competitive. ...

I'm saying based on bowl results, not prior to.

Based on the Bowl results, yes probably. It's still hard to tell how competitive USC would have been. Ped State lost to Michigan and barely beat osu so USC barely beating Ped State still doesn't convince me they were as good (or competitive) as Bama, Clemson and Washington.

Got it, it's a total hypothetical.

Looking at how USC finished the season they had the hot hand, as did PSU in the B1G.
