Tony...Tony....Tony...that's like saying there's no junior high in cabell county that the herd can't beat.....my guess is 60% chance of 1st round win...15% of 2nd round....prognosticators scoffed at the idea of 3rd round participation......only thing left is to hope for CBI or CIT or EPA or TSA or whatever it's called and really hope you don't get in Newberry's bracket.....please go easy on the WV taxpayers this year and lose quickbeat ....but conversely not a team that beat the Herd! It'll be very entertaining! BTW, the Cousins are playing very well...have to give them their credit when it is do!

Well, I'm in the "nobody can play" camp for all of D-1 basketball this season, so can't really rebut your assertion!Depends on what you call entertainment
CUS1AA = a group of very bad teams

Two dogfights!Well, we know that regular season champ UAB "wants no part" of the Herd in the tournament after going 2-0 against them already.
Show me the money ....beat the spread in both! And Marshall was the puppy in both.
I'll be in Vegas I'm about an hour. I'll see what the odds are to win CUSA and win the NCAA.Show me the money ....beat the spread in both!
No idea who to bet to win it all...must be 20 teams that have a pulse!I'll be in Vegas I'm about an hour. I'll see what the odds are to win CUSA and win the NCAA.

I saw Louisville beat UConn like a stepchild ( 20 points) in the Yum Center, 1 month before the Huskies won it all! If somebody has a player get hot through the tourney like Kimba did they 'll be tough , but why not WVU? They be in my list of 20!This is going to be an amazing tourney. What was Uconn when they won recently? 7 seed? Could easily happen this year.
You'll have to take that up with Adam Smith! My hunch is he would say "yes".Do you get a W for that?

Offense has nights where the boys just can't hit but defense never has an off night and your press and pressure are relentless! If WVU can CONSISTENTLY play half court offensive basketball and make some timely FT's....would be shocked to you boys hang a banner, first time in my life I can honestly say that, too young to remember Jerry West as a Mountie!Miles, Carter and Adrian have been shooting well (Adrian longer than the other 2, but Huggs made slight adjustments to the other 2 and the dividends of hard work are starting to pay off)... we could be scary if that continues or even improves.

Not sure winning the Big 12 really helps WVU in their seeding...a case could be made for rest! Guess it would make them a possible 2 seed if they win but what's the diff between a 2 or 3 seed in reality?I think we're getting to the point that we'll have somebody that can hit them. Between Adrian, Phillip, Miles, Paige and Carter, we are getting to the point where we are always having 2 shooters/scorers on the floor at a time. They aren't like Kemba Walker or Carmelo Anthony were during those runs, but good enough. I'll get a better feel after seeing the Big 12 tournament, but that seems to be the way they are trending.
We had a few games in the middle there where I wondered if we'd ever win again. We couldn't make anything. Is that fixed? Or are we just on a decent streak? Based on what I've heard from Huggs and the guys, knowing they've been working on mechanics, I lean to it being fixed.
Our defense will be key. Kentucky was just way too good for us last year, but it didn't help to have Williams on the bench with 2 fouls less than a minute into the game. If we get officials like that it will be hard for us to play our usual defense. However, during the tournament we are likely to be playing teams that haven't played against us and thus don't really know what to expect. That's a huge advantage for us.
Is this our year? I don't know, could be. I'd be shocked if we don't make the Sweet 16 at least, and not shocked at all to make to the final four. From there? Depends on who's left and what their guards are like.
