Looks like WVU has to re-convince the nation against Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Iowa State and Baylor. If they beat the 2 teams the committee thinks is easily better than WVU, that would be interesting. It wouldn’t put us in the Final Four, but we might make the 6-Pack Bowls.

There is no way a one loss WVU from the Big XII will get to the final four. I think a NY6 Bowl is the best we can do.

If Washington wins out look for them to leaf-frog T A&M. The only way The Big Xii gets in is if Clemson and Michigan both have at least one loss, but that will probably open the door for one-loss tOSU and T A&M. Late season losses obviously will carry more weight as the process goes on.

The good/bad-ying/yang of this is we get to have this same discussion five more times.

Which helps get us to the next game. At least, the one after Kansas.

The conference officials and refs are behind Clemson and will make sure the Tigers don't lose a game. Square business.

Pie in the sky aside, you don't really want to see this years team play Alabama in the playoffs, do you?

Would not have mattered if WVU was still unbeaten they probably would only be as high as 10 - 12. If they were lucky.
