Skyler is a senior. I'm sure Dana has coached him a 1000 times to throw the ball away, don't hold on to it too long, etc. The only way to pin this on Dana is to blame him for not recruiting a better QB that could beat out Skyler Howard.
Skyler's a great kid and just had a bad day. Young men have days like this and not many teams are good enough to go into OSU and win if they have 3 TOs and numerous grounding sacks, mental errors, etc. Offense put the defense in a bad spot many times today.
As much as I don't like Dana, if we don't implode and lose 4 of our last 6, I hope the entire staff gets an extension. If you would have told us 9-3 to start this year, we all would have taken it. But, if we go 2-4 in our last six, that means we lose to ISU or KU, have another Oct/Nov meltdown, and we just have to go another direction. I fully expect, however, 9-3 at the worst at this point.
