This is the way WV should feel and prepare for Kansas considering what happened last time in Lawrence.
Last year the team mailed it in for the second half vs KU. The only WV points scored after intermission were by Mario Alford on special teams.
Not calling for an upset because KU is likely the worst team in the FBS, but I agree with the Saban approach of a sense of urgency and nothing is assumed or taken for granted. Now I don't know why SEC teams schedule cupcake city in late November and no one seems to take issue with that, but the point of note is in the coaching philosophy.
Saban also makes some interesting points about Georgia Southern's rush offense and how they were not prepared to stop it in 2011. Would love to hear WVU's opponents frustrated like that by being that oddball run-heavy match-up.
