-- Brown has a lot of respect for BYU's program and it's a good win for his team. It was a complete game for his team with playing 'good football' He says they played good on all three phases. Brown wants to thank the crowd for the energy in the stadium and everyone getting to the stadium early and the players fed off of that energy. Defense gave up minimal yardage and was good on third down according to Brown. He also says the offense continued to play at a high level. Having two 100-yard rushers and time of possession was important to him. The only negative to him were the penalties.

-- Hard to say how defense improved without tape but Brown says they did a good job in the run game. BYU's QB Retzlaff had a quick release. Brown says the team tackled well and got the Cougars behind the chains and Biser and Cutter improved at linebacker. Brown says that the best his safeties have played in a long time.

-- Brown says Jahiem White has potential to be special and it's hard to play this game as a freshman so if he stays on this track he can be a special player. His second time going over 100 yards now. Jahiem wasn't playing as much before and it came down to his practice and preparation. With a veteran group up front, he needed to earn those opportunities and he came around and improved with a little push from him and OC Chad Scott. CJ Donaldson went back to the basics in setting uo his runs and that's what he needed to get out of his rut and it has paid off.

-- Brown says the team didn't talk about bowl eligibility. He says the best team play the best in November and this is WVU's best game. WVU is alive in the Big 12 Conference race and the team is 'on a quest to play their best.' Until tonight, Brown says all three phases hadn't been together.

-- BYU does shifts defensively on the line before the snap that 'probably did' have an effect on five false starts on the night for WVU and they've done this against other teams.

-- The defensive scheme has been simplified and they've been playing more simple in terms of gap alignment. Brown says pass rush was better and they were better with their landmarks in zone coverage.

-- WVU has played good since the bye week and it helped more than anything. Brown felt like they were going to take off offensively as the season moved on. Have played at a high level since then and they've been throwing the ball downfield better. He says there are a lot of things they can do better but they're starting to hit their stride. Greene is a big part of their success and when he's out there, Brown says he gives WVU a chance to win.

-- The story of this season is far from being written and they're a resilient team. It was a feeling of business as usual and a box checked for WVU in November in the locker room after the win when they knew they needed to dominate and get a win. Brown thought CJ set the tone with a 'man's run' on fourth down.

-- Brown says the offense has been aggressive all season and they were going to be really aggressive against UCF. Brown says you're seeing the maturation of the offense with Greene making decisions and the young players around him.
