--West Virginia took care of business and ran the ball better than they did at any point last year. It was much improved and the communication was solid. Played a lot of young guys and they played reasonably well. They had explosive plays offensively and prevented them on defense. Good first win overall, but the attention to detail and discipline must improve.

--Brown felt they got everything called offensively they wanted to and defensively they did not as they only saw 49 countable snaps. Because of the nature the way it was laid out, they treated it like a first game. They’re going to go and it will be a mix between a normal bye week and camp style practice sessions where they focus on work against each other.

--Glad that Garrett Greene was able to play. He was up and down with only one really bad decision. He plays with great energy and has extreme competitiveness. He ran the ball effectively and got a lot of snaps in that game. He is a guy that will play a lot of football here.

--Brown believes they have to tackle better and they misfit some things but overall the co-defensive coordinators looked good with their roles.

--Redshirt senior guard Mike Brown was injured but will be fine moving forward.

--West Virginia and Oklahoma State have a ton of people coming back and there shouldn’t be a lot of schematic changes for either team so there isn’t a lot of advantages or disadvantages with the Mountaineers having a bye week and the Cowboys playing this weekend.
