At a Glance: How to Watch Florida vs. Houston Championship Game
Date, Start Time: Monday, April 7 at 8:50 p.m. ET
The powerhouse programs both went 35-4 this season. Houston punched its ticket to the championship with a shocking comeback win against Duke, going 9-0 in the final 35 seconds to win 70-67. Florida’s Final Four matchup against Auburn saw Gators star Walter Clayton Jr. put up 34 points, carrying the team to a 79-73 victory.

If you’re looking to watch the Florida vs. Houston March Madness championship tonight, read on. Below, we’ve rounded up three of the best ways to livestream Florida vs. Houston without cable, including ways to watch the NCAA championship for free.

Kelvin Sampson has built his program to a level where the Cougars are good enough every year to have a chance to play on the season’s final Monday night, but something has always broken wrong. A year ago, star Jamal Shead sprained his ankle in the Sweet 16 against Duke, and Houston lost its mojo.

The year before that, injuries to starting guards Marcus Sasser and Shead were too much to overcome. The year before that, a shorthanded team — because of, you guessed it, injuries — had a nightmarish shooting night in the Elite Eight against Villanova.

The Cougars entered this NCAA Tournament healthy, but most expected this fun run to end on Saturday in the Final Four.

One final reminder came on Saturday afternoon, when the Sampsons gathered to watch a story on ESPN about their family, then watched afterward as the analysts all picked Duke to win.

The Cougars proved them all wrong. Check out how they made it happen below.

The Florida Gators and Houston Cougars are the last two teams standing this March Madness season, and the pair of No. 1 seeds face one more battle in Monday’s NCAA national championship game. The game is scheduled to start at 8:50 p.m. ET (7:50 p.m. CT) with TV coverage on CBS and streaming on-demand.
