Estonia is hosting one of the country’s largest-ever military drills involving 15,000 troops from 14 NATO and partner nations, including Finland and Sweden.

Hedgehog 2022 began Monday just 60km from the Russian border, but Tallinn's Defense Force deputy commander denied the land, air, sea and cyberwarfare exercises had anything to do with Moscow’s operation in Ukraine.

Another 30,000 troops from over 20 nations are taking part in other NATO drills in Poland, Germany and other countries, including the bloc’s second-ever use of a US carrier strike group since the Cold War.
