"The 4:30 p.m. update from Horry County Emergency Management announced that residents of ALL neighborhoods previously evacuated due to the Carolina Forest wildfire are now able to return home." Of course, wind conditions, etc. could change that. Schools are on schedule for tomorrow, although bus routes may be modified.

Turns out (unofficially) that the fire was started because some idiot, in violation of a No-Burn Order, was burning some trash and 2x4's and left the fire unattended.

It's about 15 miles north of Murrell's inlet.
