second game is us looking ahead to Maryland and Oklahoma. Maryland is improving (slowly), and Oklahoma is, Oklahoma. Plus it'll be our first road game. Oklahoma is always tough. Our games have been shootouts and closely fought.

Overlooking Ga. Southern, will yield an unnecessarily close game. We need to stomp them early and let our depth get experience in the second half. I'll take a ten point win as long as most of our second and third teamers get in there and get their feet wet. We won't need 'style points' with our schedule. May be unavoidable though. Ga. Southern was ranked our 11th most important game this year. I have to assume Liberty is our 12th.

Talon, I assume your players weren't happy about the FBS move. Now, they can't transfer out to a better echelon of football, join the practice squads, and not have to sit out a year.

Sounds like a Marshall fan. Except, Marshall fans think they can beat us with an arm and a leg tied behind them. Although, with both arms and legs free to do whatever they please, they never have. 12-0 About to add a 1-0 to the never have list.

Oklahoma completely fell apart late last season and had the look of a team that just quit! If WVU had played them later in the season might well have beaten them! Maryland bitch stomped you in 2013 ( 37-0) but you nipped them on a thundertoe last second FG last season. Both games are tossups in my book but neither opponent can be considered a contender for much this season.
