he says Bret mcmurphy has an inside source. We supposedly made a pitch for Houston's coach but he's talking to another school.
Am I disappointed? Yes, if it's true.

I am and I am not a troll..."Former" season ticket holder....WVU grad....B.A. 1982. I don't like our Coach. Didn't like him the first time I met him. I think he might really know "Offenses", but I think he SUCKS as a Head Coach. He is also either an idiot or just had a bad day at Kansas State. We used to have a Great Program. Now we are a paper Tiger....and giving him an extension is just like giving him a pass on the bowl game. What does he have to Lose? Disappointed doesn't begin to describe my feelings.

First of just a few people I met that I just didn't like....something was there....Maybe since he is a BS'er and i've had the same charged to me....I saw myself. You don't have to like a coach as a person. I think I spoke of my lack of confidence in his head coaching abilities which are hard to measure when he goes 4-1 against the bottom of the conference barrel....and i think he either threw the KSU. game to help ole Bill Snyder or he is an idiot ....We ran and passed for over 400 yards....Smallwood was nine yards from getting the RB title...he decides to pass...and runs a gimpy QB.....not the first time he's called head scratching plays. He should Go...but he'll get a pass now.

I think every coach is a BSer, you have to do to recruit. Actually, Dana seems like one of the more straight shooters in the profession, but to each their own.

wouldn't be surprised to see him stay...but if so without an extension please! We will never get our numbers up with DH as HC.

I had a buddy who worked for ABC when he got out of college..his job was to take a remote camera around the stadiums and find the best looking coeds in the stands for TV..paid travel, food and rooms..and I thought his major was a waste..stupid me

He has more Excuses than most any coach.....You continue to focus only on my asides about the man....not the points that he can't recruit a QB, he loses Regularly "Very Winnable" Games at home and on the road....poor in game decisions, coaching, etc.....The bowl record is a disaster. He had a 9 win capable team QB'd by Geno Smith and went 7-6 including the Pinstripe Bowl Disaster....He's terrible....but hey! He's just one QB away from a 10 win season! Yipee!.....You have to know how to coach them....he doesn't...and hiring your buddies as assistants doesn't help. Good luck with that!

Dana gives WVU the best chance to win a Big 12 championship. Contrary to the troll postings and low information fan postings, Holgorsen has already won one conference championship and an Orange Bowl. Our football roster is looking better than ever, the players for the most part seem to be doing well in school and staying out of trouble, and we are bowl bound again this year.

Shame to see those standings and know WVU should have been 8-4 possibly 9-3. All he had to do was get out of his own way and WVU finishes 8-4 with a chance at 9-4. The 4th down call to cost us the K State game was pure stupid.

In person, Dana doesn't come across as the sharpest tool in the shed but ............in reality it doesn't take much brain power to coach football...............and even less to be the HC. OK, Dana is sharp enough to be earning $60,000 a week..............bad hair and all! How dumb is that?

Nick Saban would give us the best chance to win, no?

interesting. Houston's coach is a member of Mensa. That could have been interesting. Not that it helped Charlie Weiss win a championship.
