Five student-athletes from the three-time reigning NCAA Champion WVU rifle team earned first-team honors, including three-time honorees Thomas Kyanko (senior) and Maren Prediger (senior). Sophomore Jean-Pierre Lucas scored his second straight award, while senior Ziva Dvorsak and junior Patrick Sunderman earned their first career honors.

The men's soccer team placed 11 student-athletes on the team, an increase of three student-athletes from 2014. Three-time honoree, senior Andy Bevin, was one of nine Mountaineers named to the first team. Additional honorees include: seniors Paul Ehrenworth and Lee Johnston, juniors Zak Leedom and Jamie Merriam, and sophomores Christian Diaz, Jack Elliott, Griffin Libhart and Alex Ochoa. Additionally, junior Francio Henry and sophomore Mike Desiderio were named to the second team.

In total, 45 student-athletes were honored, with a conference-best four from WVU nominated with 4.00 grade point averages (GPA): Bevin, Elliott, Johnston and Kyanko. Baylor placed a conference-best 15 on the two teams.
