Yes..............the Mountaineers can be enjoyed on ESPNU tonight. Order up that Chinese take-out and get ready to be entertained by Huggins and Company. If a couple of the youngsters come around and shoot the 3 ball and foul shots like we know they are capable.......................the Mountaineers can challenge for the Big 12 top spot.

I like they way you think, Tex. It's a good way to do business. Speaking of the entertainment value and such....

7 p.m. for those who didn't know.
I REALLY enjoyed my VCR replay of the Marshall game.
First WVU grinded down Marshall. Then the Mountaineers grinded up the Herd.
Tasted like chicken to me.
So, Danny Tonio, who's chicken now?

With regard to sports, heck, most folks don't realize that the real value is in the entertainment. Unfortunately, some fans seem to think they have a piece of their heart at stake. You are young to the board but ..................I like the way you talk. I ain't sure yet how you think.
By the way, I note that you refer to me as 'Tex'. Of course, I'm OK with that but you deserve an explanation of where the TexasforevEER nickname came from. You see...........my parents didn't know how to spell Warez when I was born and named me Tex. I later figured out the math..............and the rest is history. Keep it simple. That's my creed.

"Football is not a matter of life and death, it's more important than that!" that quote is from a football legend, Bill Shankly. But the football he was talking about was what we call soccer. Shankly was the long-time manager of Liverpool FC. He is the Vince Lombardi of the English Premier League, taking them from obscurity to the top of the league.

I follow the Reds myself, but not as closely as the Mountaineers. It is great entertainment as well and once you get the hang of it, it is easy to follow. A match is best seen live; TV doesn't do the game justice. When you can see the whole pitch you can see how and why plays are set up and develop. Our football is the same somewhat, better live if you can get to the game.

I would say I live and die with the Mountaineers, but they are "petite mort" as they say and I am reborn the next day, waiting for the next game and to be entertained again. Let's not forget that even in the times of the commercialization of college football that the game is still played by young men wanting to better themselves whether through education or by playing up to the next level.

Either way it's all good. Now, bring on the Mountaineers!
