Mountaineer Meet and Greet in Cleveland[/B]
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (March 25, 2015)[/B] - Mountaineer fans following the men's basketball team to Cleveland for the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 will have an opportunity to come together for a meet and greet hosted by the Mountaineer Athletic Club and the WVU Alumni Association.
Tomorrow, March 26, a Mountaineer Meet and Greet will take place beginning at 6 p.m. at Zocalo (2071 E. 4thSt., Cleveland, OH). The social, which is free and open to the public, will feature food and beverage specials from the Zocalo menu and great Mountaineer camaraderie. Zocalo is less than five minutes by foot from the Quicken Loans Arena.
Hundreds of WVU alumni, friends and fans are expected to be on hand for the Sweet 16 matchup with the Kentucky Wildcats, which is scheduled to tip off at 9:45 p.m. Thursday evening. Should the Mountaineers advance, they will play the winner of the Notre Dame - Wichita State game on Saturday, March 28 (time TBA). A similar Meet and Greet will likely be planned before the Elite 8 matchup three hours prior to tip off.
For those alumni and fans not traveling to Cleveland, many alumni chapters are hosting game watches in their respective areas. Visit cal.wvu.edu to find the nearest location.
