A strong noble beast ...makes one proud to be associated with them! You mess with them, you get the horns but WVU already knows that so they took a powder!

Can't say I blame them for running scared, as their AD can read the coaches polls. I think they opted to play an FCS team in Youngstown, a poor Missouri team who lost more SEC games than Kentucky or Vandy, and a down & out BYU team who actually got beat by Missouri.

I guess they need to count on easy non-conference wins, and hope they can get by Kansas and Iowa State in conference, and then pull off an upset over the likes of the Red Raiders, in hopes of getting to play in another one of those late night bowl games that competes with Conan for viewers.

Not sure I would stay up until 3 a.m. to watch a couple .500 teams compete in a 'we'll leave the light on for ya' bowl though, especially after the big boys have laced them up in the big bowls throughout the day and in prime time.

In the middle of the night, we still drew 65% more viewers than Marshall in our bowl game. The Cactus Bowl started while 7.4 million people were watching TCU/Oregon and it still drew over 65% more viewers than Marshall could draw playing a team from the NYC area up against Home Shopping Network day after Christmas shop-a-thon.

Just eat it pig.

Yes they are. They were pretty good when we scheduled them in 14... I think they had 10 or 11 wins that year and I remember them facing Bama in the SEC Champ game. I am just glad for a variety in scheduling.

Sagarin ratings also had BYU 27 spots higher than MVU last year. You guys are just all kinds of stupid. To tie in the total stupidity of today's MVU postings, BYU beat Boise State by 11 and UConn by 17 last year. Double Ouch.

Well, Mizzou might be awful but they beat Uconn by 3 and Marshall beat them by 6. Mizzou played without their starting QB.

They are bad by P5 standards. They would win CUSA. It will be a coin flip with their new coach. It is hard to see them clearing .500 this season.

Lol....Bison, an easy kill and no match for anything with a pulse, had to be saved by the government from extinction.

Still holds true today..... [jumpingsmile]

so, you found the information on a Department of the Interior website... lol
