Mini-Packages & Single Game Football Tickets on Sale Monday, July 9

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (July 2, 2018) – With the 2018 West Virginia University football season opener less than two months away, the Mountaineer Ticket Office has announced that mini-packages and single-game tickets will go on sale to the public on Monday, July 9, at 9 a.m.

Tickets will be available for purchase online at WVUGAME.com, by calling 1-800-WVU GAME or in-person at the Mountaineer Ticket Office inside the WVU Coliseum.

WVU is offering three mini-plan options for home games this fall. The Mountaineer Package features three games for $210: Kansas State, TCU and Oklahoma. The Blue Plan, also a three-game option, is priced at $205: Kansas, TCU and Oklahoma. The Gold Plan is $205: Kansas State, Baylor and Oklahoma.

Single-game tickets will be available for games against Youngstown State, Baylor and Kansas. The Youngstown State game is priced at $55, while Baylor and Kansas games are priced at $65 each. WVU’s matchups with Kansas State, TCU and Oklahoma only are available through mini-packages at this time. If available, individual tickets for those three games will go on sale at a later date. For information on discounted rates for groups of 20 or more, contact the Mountaineer Ticket Office at 1-800-WVU GAME, as group discounts are not available online.

Fans are encouraged to utilize the ‘Pick Your Own Seat’ option on WVUGAME.com for single-game purchases. The seats, available online at WVUGAME.com, are the best possible available at the time, pending completion of season ticket and mini-package sales. Available tickets will be located in the Gold, Orange and Green Zone sections of Milan Puskar Stadium.

For fans wanting to purchase mini-package or single-game tickets in the upper level Red Zone sections (204 and 216-219) of Milan Puskar Stadium, a $75 Mountaineer Athletic Club annual fund/ticket priority gift per ticket per game is required unless they are currently MAC members at the Gold annual giving level or above. Upper level Red Zone seats may be purchased over the phone by calling 1-800-WVU GAME, but are not available online.

The matchups with Youngstown State and Baylor have been designated as “Family Day” games with four tickets and a $25 concession voucher included in each package. A Youngstown State game Family Day package is priced at $150, while a Baylor Family Day package costs $200 each. Kickoff times have been set for the YSU (6 p.m.) and Baylor games (7 p.m.).

Tickets for West Virginia’s road contests with Texas Tech, Iowa State, Texas and Oklahoma State also will be available on July 9. Existing season ticket holders and MAC members should log in to their WVUGAME.com account or call the Mountaineer Ticket Office to purchase away game tickets. There will be no public sale for the NC State game at this time.

West Virginia opens the 2018 season against Tennessee on Saturday, Sept. 1, at 3:30 p.m. at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, on CBS.
