FSU just paid $900k to Jameis Winston's accuser on a case their University President said they'd have won had it went to court. I'm betting that school is guilty of some stuff, like misallocation of funds if paying $900k to a false accuser is cheaper than fighting the false claim in courts. That school must have some high dollar attorneys, but then again given the problems # of athletes have had there, maybe they get a bulk discount.

Maybe the case could have been won in court but..................FSU doesn't want to air the dirty laundry in front of the nation. Yes, it's about money. FSU knows that it is cheaper in the long run to just pay the $900K. I would imagine that Jameis will kick in most of the $900K .............from his NFL cash. Right?

i'm not going to be too critical of the acc if for any other reason is the fact that we'd be in that conference if they wanted us. we may be in some form of that conference in the future, whether its called the acc or the "whos left in the east" conference.

This is a perfect example of why I'm such a fan of West Virginia University and I'm not some person expecting top recruiting classes and National Championship seasons every year. It takes some dirty stuff to be highly competitive every single year and I would much rather WVU do things the right way instead of whoring the University for National Championships.
