Sills coming back literally last minute tells me that Gibson is gone. Sills will slide into his spot.
Carrier knows his stuff. If Sills is on campus in Jan....he'll be ready. Sills didn't have a huge data set here, but anyone with two eyes could see he has stuff you can't coach.

By the time he hits the meat of our schedule? Yes.
Gibson is great, but he could be stifled because of his limited route tree.
I get the impression that Sills, with his QBbackground will be able to find open spots better since he knows what a scrambling QB is looking for downfield. Plus he's at least a couple inches taller.
That being said....Gibson would be well served coming back. Him in this mix would be a ticket to a top 3 round draft in 2018. Everyone will be living it up if Greer is eligible the whole season.

I'm more interested, at the moment, in how WVU will do against Miami. And which Skyler will show up, the house on fire Skyler or the throw the skyball and pray Skyler. Tony Gibson will take care of his business, as he has all season, saving WVU 3 to 5 games, at least.

It's going to be a close game. Miami is much better than their record and very easily could have only lost 1 game. They have the edge in a lot of matchup, but we will see
