#1 Alabama had a squeaker victory over #19 Mississippi, #9 Wisconsin barely escaped Georgia State, #15 Tennessee was unimpressive in a victory over Ohio University, #16 Georgia beat Missouri by 1 point and #20 LSU beat Mississippi State by 3 points.
That’s 5 losses and 5 victories that didn’t help the cause of the victors in the next rankings. That 9 of the top 25.
Who knows? Maybe the Mountaineers will climb into the Top 25 in time to play BYU.
