  • 51 per cent of Americans said U.S. democracy was in danger of extinction
  • Just 26 per cent said American democracy was 'secured' for the future
  • Number who believe Biden's election was legitimate dropped 10 points since April

A majority of Americans says in a stunning new poll that U.S. democracy is at risk of 'extinction.'

The assessment comes in a new poll near the anniversary of President Joe Biden's first year in office, just days after the anniversary of the Capitol riot.

About half, or 26 per cent, said U.S. democracy's survival 'is secured for future generations,' according to the poll from Schoen Cooperman Research.

Slightly fewer, 23 per cent, said they weren't sure, with 51 per cent saying democracy was in danger of extinction.

The result comes after President Joe Biden spoke about the Capitol riot during a voting rights speech in Atlanta, saying that a year ago a 'dagger was literally held at the throat of American democracy.'

Ultra amazing that such surveys find more than 50% believe the election of Biden was legitimate (even with the drop of 10% since April). The posters will be working overtime to alter their survey questions so they can increase the numbers voting that he is legitimate. IMO, a true survey of millions of National voters would show the percentage believing he was elected legitimately to be, at best, in the 20's.
