Major Harris, Pat White best WVU QBs ever. Hoss, Luck 3-4. Grier, Geno, Bulger not as good.

We need mobility and a dual threat star at QB. That’s what separates Kyler Murray and Grier. Murray can kill you with arm and legs. Grier isn’t as dominant as him and it’s not close. Murray is way better. Grier is pass or bust. That don’t get you even a conference title. We need more balance at the position.

Grier can throw good enough to get on an NFL roster but in college he isn’t nearly as good as Pat White, Major Harris. Not even close. Those guys won big games cause defenses had to account for there running threat every play. Grier would be Pat White and Major Harris water boy.

Grier is on level of Marc Bulger, Geno Smith. He’s no better than them. They could not win big either. It was pass or fail. Pass, pass, pass.

However, if you put a healthy Grier in our 2007 offense I don’t see any dropoff whatsoever. Kid can really move but people don’t realize it because his left leg is busted right now.
