the Cards were the best bet of opening night but thought they'd be around 28 1/2...I swear 38 1/2 makes me like them even more! I know that's counter intuitive but speculation often is rewarded positions outside the box.
I didn't see them last year against the Herd but caught their act with UK...not very good, a long way to go!With the things Charlotte's program has had to go through to keep afloat, I'm surprised there's a line on this one at all.
the Cards were the best bet of opening night but thought they'd be around 28 1/2...
Tells me as much about what Vegas thinks of the Cards...every conference has a Kansas! So Louisville is spotting Charlotte 38 1/2........that should tell you something about your weak CUSA schedule.
I can't answer that ,Mike! Charlotte does seem to be in a growing city but I agree hard for the 49's to carve out a niche in that area.....seems like a kid would have a lot of options before he'd sign with Charlotte. At the moment it's smoke and mirrors there with the football team, Tony. Not enough quality players and a lack of community support in a pro town.
I've never understood the rush to FCS status all these small basketball schools made with football. Did they really think the money was still going to be there after the demise of the BCS and the rise of the playoff?
Pretty much rock bottom on the food chain...Appy would be a better choice IMHO!With South Carolina and Clemson just down the road, you would think so.
Tells me as much about what Vegas thinks of the Cards...
We'll find out on the 24th...but Charlotte 0-8 last year in C-USA will be a dog to all their C-USA brethren! You're probably right about that, Louisville would probably be the heavy favorite against any CUSA team.
CUSA looks like it was a perfect fit for CharlotteI can't answer that ,Mike! Charlotte does seem to be in a growing city but I agree hard for the 49's to carve out a niche in that area.....seems like a kid would have a lot of options before he'd sign with Charlotte.
Yes, their conference record was unblemished by any victories! Perfect indeed!CUSA looks like it was a perfect fit for Charlotte
Yep just one of 8 teams outside the top 100 from CUSA.Yes, their conference record was unblemished by any victories! Perfect indeed!
Like I said, perfect fit for CUSA. To run that gauntlet each and every week is brutalYep just one of 8 teams outside the top 100 from CUSA.
As the 49'ers and their perfect record would attest to!Like I said, perfect fit for CUSA. To run that gauntlet each and every week is brutal
Just another crappy team in CUSA. Hopefully they can use it as a stepping stone to the MAC or the AAC in the futureAs the 49'ers and their perfect record would attest to!
You're probably right about that, Louisville would probably be the heavy favorite against any CUSA team.
They'd be favored over the following b12 teams as well
WVU by at least 14
Kansas heavy
KSU by at least 12
Iowa State heavy
Can't argue that ...49ers record speaks for itself!Just another crappy team in CUSA. Hopefully they can use it as a stepping stone to the MAC or the AAC in the future
Can't argue that ...49ers record speaks for itself!
More like 1 year head start but not let the facts get in the way.... call me when the 49ers notch their first C-USA win!Marshall 1 CUSA championship
UNCC 0 CUSA championships
After the herd getting a 10 year head start, UNCC is only 1 behind.
Go herd
So when did Marshall join CUSA?More like 1 year head start but not let the facts get in the way.... call me when the 49ers notch their first C-USA win!
UNCC started playing football 3 years ago and last year was their first in CUSA. MVU started playing in 2005 (CUSA). Tony is full of shit as usual. So when did Marshall join CUSA?
Sorry the 49ers only had last season but my advise to the boys from Charlotte would try to be competitive in a game this year, maybe even win one , them dream of C-USA crowns! But all the best to the 49er's, just not on Thursday night next!UNCC started playing football 3 years ago and last year was their first in CUSA. MVU started playing in 2005 (CUSA). Top 15? I must've missed that pollA top 15 team vs 4 b12 bottom feeders? You're a special kind of stupid
Top 15? Who is a special kind of stupid?A top 15 team vs 4 b12 bottom feeders? You're a special kind of stupid
They'll soon be higher than that after they clip FSU.A top 15 team vs 4 b12 bottom feeders? You're a special kind of stupid
I agree with you ...Cards would be double digit favorites at home to all on your list. 28 1/2 over KU at home.http://www.foxsports.com/college-fo...emson-lsu-oklahoma-ohio-state-michigan-080316
They're 10th here, 19th and 25th in other polls. Like I said they'd roll through most of the B12 as favorites against everyone except for a few, but you bottom feeders they'd be heavy favorites
ACC had their choice between Louisville and WVU...took the Cards and left the Mounties looking for a date!Louisville, just another of the many teams that have placed WVU in their rear view mirror during the 'Big Things are Coming' era...
ACC had their choice between Louisville and WVU...took the Cards and left the Mounties looking for a date!
I think you need to look at a calendar and dates of each event. But don't let that get in the way of your spin.ACC had their choice between Louisville and WVU...took the Cards and left the Mounties looking for a date!

You boys didn't approach the ACC in 2012 and rebuffed?Wrong. WVU joined the Big 12 in 2012, Loiusville went to the ACC in 2014. But don't let facts get in the way.
