Without trying to give the impression that I condone the behavior, it is extremely naïve to think this sort of thing is not common. WVU seems to be something of a choir boy in this respect and I know personally the Cincinnati is making every effort to ferret out any such activity in its programs, but it is an easy to bet to say this happens on nearly every campus.
I really do not care what sort of program Louisville runs. If things get out of hand there are consequences and publicity for it and I am fine with that. These things come and go and over the long haul the Big-12 would be better off with Louisville's membership.
