My dog of almost eleven years had to be put down unexpectedly tonight. He died with five people he loved around him. Vladimir (we called him Vladdie) has seen more televised WVU sporting events than a lot of people I know. My best memories of him are laying on the couch and watching basketball games in the winter. I can truly say that he made my life better, and stuck by my side even when I was at my worst. When my mom has her plethora of heart problems, and had to stay with me, he laid next to her every night for several years.

I know very few of you personally, but I feel like I should acknowledge to anyone who will listen what a positive impact he had on me and my family. Trust me, that dog rarely missed a WVU game.
