For those surprised that Holgorsen didn't "lose the team" after some tough losses to excellent teams in the conference--take a look at this video.

This is what the team thinks about their head coach. Note--he is the one up in the air celebrating with his team while you whiners are upset about WVUs victory.

Great win for Holgorsen and the team--keep it going!

Good post Buck. Picture says all I need to know. This team is giving all they have for each other and their coaches. Also listen to what the recruits have to say when they come to visit. Texas has 350 D I players to choose from in their backyard, West Virginia has what 3 in a good year if that. Things are getting there , just maybe not as fast as everyone expected.

Great post....

.....if it wasn't already made multiple times yesterday afternoon.

So, we are 5-4 (2-4) and we should be happy? I'm pleased we won the past two weeks, but if you think that everyone who has criticized Holgorsen are not justified then you are ridiculous. I won't apologize for not wanting mediocrity. You may have accepted it, but I won't.

College football won't make you happy, t-shirter. We could win every game and you'd still be miserable. No one needs your apology. Your couch will be there next week, like clockwork.

Oh, the great almighty has arrived. Your claims are ridiculous. Calling me a "t-shirter"??? HA. You have no clue. I have more of an investment than you could ever dream of having. [thumbsup]

I don't think we should cannibalize fellow Mountaineers. I'm not happy with mediocrity either, but I'm willing to see how this season plays out and the bowl game. Think Stew ran the program into the ground and left a lot of work for Mr. Holgerson. He wasn't rebuilding a team for the AAC, he was building a Big 12 competitor. Takes time. Now at some point he may move on and someone else will build on the foundation he has built. who really knows? I think we should be happy with the wins for now and not have an inquisition for those who might be skeptical. Trolls aside, you'll have those, but there are a lot of Mountaineers who love the team, watch the games, and aren't sold on the coach. Hopefully, if he is successful, people will come around, but to attack after every win or loss is ridiculous even asinine. Who cares?

I want him to be successful. Why? Because, if he is successful then WVU is successful. I have never wanted a loss to occur because of my lack of confidence in Holgorsen. That's what it is with me....a lack of confidence in him being able to get the job done here. I think he could win at smaller levels (like he did when we were in the Big East), but I'm not sure he can at the Big 12 level. Over the past year or so he's at least made some changes. His play calling and clock management is still **** though.

Sounds reasonable to me. The over reactions are what I meant about cannibalism. The message that complaining about what we see on the field, in game decisions, coaching etc translates into being haters, not wanting the coach or WVU to succeed...etc. We don't need that right now. I'm counting on a nice run with a bowl win. Will there be some headscratching meanwhile...yes! We are after all that kind of team....I think its what we have called Murphy's Law....but its also sports...things happen...all good fun in the end! Go Mountaineers!

Don't stop short. Tell me about your investments. The only investment you have in WVU is emotional.

None of us receive a dividend. I'm not an investor. I'm alumni and a donor to WVU.

I've put my money where my mouth is and WVU is part of my professional biography.

It's just as easy for me to put garbage on here like you did. Your lies. Or the "truth". Whatever I say won't convince you. I could say I donate $1 million....or that I donate nothing. But....I have more than your "emotion" you mention.

Saying things like you are amazed the coach hasn't lost the players after they were beaten by some top teams isn't being critical, it's more on the level of trolling. Why project ignorant ramblings onto the team and pretend things are going on that clearly are not close to being true?

The team can end up 9-4 this year which isn't mediocre at this level at all, yet some pine daily for new coaches and throw out accusations that are baseless and ugly. No doubt many of these are simply from trolls and some more from fans of other teams just here to stir the pot. Mountaineer fans support their program and root for wins, they don't hope for losses to tear up what is being built.

Some here are actually upset with wins and indignant about wins and any successes with this team and look for negatives only and that is just a pitiful waste of everyone's time.

Several games left to be played and WVU can win them all. As a Mountaineer fan I hope they do.

Except I think the play calling against Texas was just about perfect, so maybe that's coming around also.

And I wouldn't think any more or any less of you, because you'd still just be a guy gutter-sniping from his couch.

I see your coaching credentials are awesome! Glad you are such an expert! I will seek you out when I need more information pertaining to quality coaching.

I actually think this next game against Kansas is big for one reason.

If Dana can keep the team focused. Going on the road against a winless team is a dangerous chance for a letdown.

If this WVU team comes out fired up and hitting on all cylinders then we know he has the full attention of the team and has them believing in each other.

After seeing the celebration in the locker room after the Texas win I think this WVU team will be very difficult to beat the rest of the season.
