Blue Lot members have known for a few days but we don't run articles like that until we get something official from the University so there aren't issues in recruiting and for the team not knowing what is going on with their coaches.
Good riddance on deforest. Not sure about codgell and his coaching ability but he did get us some good recruits out of Florida in the past
Speaking of recruiting how's Wickline as a recruiter? I'm guessing that's the reason he was hired.

Good recruiter but definitely not the main reason he was hired. He has a lot of contacts and his Florida connections are part of that.
That's good about his contacts, but why then was he brought on? Is he really gonna run the offense?
We'll get into more later but WVU admins felt Dana wasn't capable of running the offense without an OC and he really needs eyes in the box.
Love the decision. Hate Dana was forced into it. I still think the best scenario is for Dana to succeed. Still have my doubts he can. I hope Wickline brings the game day presence needed.

If that's the case, talk about an uninspiring hire. Texas's offense was terrible.

That's the least surprising one. It just didn't work out with him coaching on this level. He's said he will probably get back into coaching in south Florida. And yes I think he'll still help WVU land guys in that area.
People need to quit hating on DeFo. Man is a hell of a safeties coach, and obviously he got us Lambert.

As a DC our defense looked terrible but I thought he settled into his new role well.
Any idea what if any position he will focus on specifically? I understand he is a offensive line coach and we are keeping Crook right? Just curious as to how that will play out.

That's fine I just get defensive when you make a joke about something I've spent 20+ years building. I realize the info is going to get out soon after we give it to the premium side but they enjoy knowing they got it first and having a chance to talk about it before it comes up in the paper or other sites. Not to suggest we break everything but there's a lot of well connected people over there so there's often good scoop and not just from me or the staff here.
I don't come over to police things as much as just to talk but I do have to be careful not to get fired up when this side gets on me. No harm no foul.
I'm a freeloader on this board. But I have spent some time on the premium side. That is a very good board. And from during my short time over there I would say there are indeed some well connected posters on that side of things.
