If WVU beat Northwestern by 1 point, North Carolina Central, Illinois, Georgia Southern, Central Michigan, Northern Illinois, Akron, Eastern Michigan, Ball State, Ken State, Buffalo, Toledo and Ohio University, do you think the Mountaineers would be ranked 12th instead of 14th? Apparently that’s the way it’s working.


Beating Missouri, Youngstown, BYU, Kansas State, Texas Tech, TCU, Kansas, Texas, Iowa State and Baylor apparently “means less.”

Go figure.

Moron weighing in here...could it be the fact they are undefeated, beat 2 P5's , whipped their opponent soundly on College Game Day when eyeballs were on them, and possess significant talent as well?

Nevermind the fact that WVU beat a substandard Bears squad by 3 points...they dicked around with them for too long on Saturday.
As for the bowl slot I am unimpressed with it...a crap time slot, vs an 8-4 Miami team with a crap fan base...past rivalries be damned...
