Like I said yesterday

WVU couldn't scratch Michigan's ass with a garden rake.

I know it. You know it. And most of all, the AD department at WVU knows it. Thus, no game with Michigan since the early 1900s, when Michigan shut you out 130 to Nothing. Same thing with basketball. Remember that game back in like 2013 or so? Coach JB had to call off the dogs in the 2nd half.

Certainly impacted our defense , second consecutive meltdown!
Marshall's defensive secondary is horrible, second only to the overall defensive effort when it comes to tackling.

Seem to have a decent offense though, but can't win against equal or better competition with lackluster defense.
Kicker is pretty bad as well. Did okay yesterday, but seems to choke in the 4th quarter when it matters most. Doesn't have a long leg either. Might need to consider having the soccer goalie suit up on Saturdays.

We need to have an open tryout for kickers on campus, these two duds can't be trusted. Arguably cost us the last two games. Our linebackers are helpless in the open field against decent RB's as you pointed out. When we had them backed up last night with 4 minutes to play and we needed one stop to get the ball back and win the game , we couldn't do it! They ran the ball on 1st down for what should have been a 1 yard gain but the back broke tackles and beat us to the edge for a 12 yard gain. The game was over at that point.

and they were coached by a West Virginian....right?......skunk bears should beat appy state first...and if that is basis for not playing then the skunk bears should take the nuts off their schedule immediately.....when was the last time?

JB is not from WV, moron.

I watched Michigan beat Appalachian State last time they played, to the tune of 52-14. You're up next, jr Mounties.

Who would you like in a 2021 matchup of Appy v. WVU? Be a dogfight IMHO!
I would give the edge to both teams competing last night over WVU. Can't trust WVU quarterback to win a game. Not sure why WVU goes after MAC players.

I guess Doege is better than anyone else they've got. WVU can play a little defense and MU can't....we pushed Appy all over the field last night but should have put up more than 30 points. Appy and WVU would be about a pick 'em game on the neutral field ,IMHO!

Ohio State once lost to Akron...in 1894 or so. John HEISMAN was a player/coach for Akron, according to the talking heads on 97.1 the Fan in Columbus. I never knew that a college player could be a coach, but that's what they said Heisman was at the time.

I can't like the chances of the Zips repeating that victory tomorrow!

I'm looking forward to seeing five-star freshman Kyle McCord start at quarterback tomorrow night. He played at a Philadelphia high school with Marvin Harrison, Jr., also an OSU frosh.

I wouldn't expect that large of a blowout, as I expect to see a lot of experimentation with two freshman quarterbacks who haven't played before.
