I love mountaineer sports and about anything connected to them and the university. I've been against the hire of RR every since Neal was fired, as I've posted here many times. But as I did even after I wanted Neal to go I can't cheer against and not for my mountaineers. I've been doing it for at least 70 of my 78 years on this earth. I ain't quitting on them now.

FraudRod made some mistakes, and I was totally angry at him. But like him or not, he's one of us. Like in a family we like some, but some we are disappointed in with how they did somethings and how they live their life. I do believe, whether he says so or not, whether he shows it or not, he loves the mountaineers and always has. He just lost his way for a while. I'm not saying I love the guy's personality entirely, and surely not all that he's done, but now he is the head of our fb team again and I want wins. Let's do all we can get as many as we can.

As for how Wren handled this process, I have no idea what the man faced getting to the point that he felt he had to offer Rod. I have to assume he did all he could NOT to hire RR. But some reasons choices fell aside, and maybe for various reasons, I'll never know about, RR jumped up the list. I go back to feeling like I have from the get-go, I trust in Wren and I still do believe he did all he could and in the end, RR is our best choice of who he had left to pick from. I hope so.
