fired. Dang, that's cold, right in the middle, not even halfway, of the season.
I'm guessing they (LSU) have reached an agreement with David Shaw.

Don't think he'll leave U of L while Jackson is around! My money is on Petrino.
There are several positions that will (more than likely) open up at the end of the season.
NotreDame
LSU
Baylor (I don't think is settled)
USC (they are past due)
Auburn
Miss. State
WVU (The time will be up. He will have a great season and take the first offer to get out of town or he will be let go after another middle of the pack finish)
Then you will have the list of schools that have to replace their coach due to leaving for the above schools.
Feel free to add your coach you think is on the hot seat.
Strong could be the hottest.Hot seat :
Tony Franklin PSU
Strong Texas
Did you see Stanford get smacked by Washington? Has someone lost focus? Just saying.
Are you serious, Marine? Nick Saban and Urban Meyer are the best two CFB coaches in America, and anybody else is a distant third.
He is definitely in the top 3-5. I would put a group at the top and that would include Saban, Meyer, Peterson and probably 2-3 more and just call that group "the best". Hard to tell if any of them are better or worse overall because they all have different programs with different recruiting and who knows if Peterson could win at Bama because every program has its own dynamic.Look at what he's done with two programs that were not established as BAMA and OSU. He's had bigger wins at Boise (as a G5) than anyone eise I can remember. And what he's doing at Washington is impressive as well. Lou Holtz said the same thing about him right after he beat Oklahoma.
