The people that are piling on Pac man have to consider the chain of events that led to the game winning field goal. After the Interception the Bengals where already in field goal range. They could have taken a knee 3 times and forced the steelers to use their time outs. They could have kicked the field goal and been up by four and forced the steelers to go the length of the field with no time outs. The steelers had a QB with a bum shoulder that didn't appear to be able to make the down field throws. The Bengals did the typical 3 man rush which allowed Big Ben time to survey the field. It is true that 2 personal fouls allowed the Steelers to get into field goal range but poor discipline can also be attributed to poor coaching. Pac man is an easy target for criticism based on his past transgressions but If Marvin Lewis would have been more conventional after the interception it is probable that the Bengals would have never found themselves in that predicament. Marvin Lewis doesn't deserve a free pass on this I can see now why he's never won a playoff game. I guess that's why there called the Bungles

There's no doubt the Bengals can spread the blame around.

Plus, that kick would have been good from another 15 yards anyway (although the Steelers would have tried to get closer).

Pacman didn't lose that game.

Sorry, but Marvin Lewis was conventional. Every coach in the NFL would have called a running play in that situation. Calling a run up the middle is not a "high risk" call.

Every coach isn't in charge of the Bungals.

I have seen coachs sit on the ball many times and kick field goals. That was not conventional they where already in field goal range

The tragedy is that Pacman would have been a hero had Jeremy Hill held onto the ball. He played great at CB, defending two end zone throws very well and had a fantastic punt return to set up the would-be game-winning score.

Yes, he screwed up, just as Joey Porter hoped, and he deserves some criticism for losing his cool. But it's not like he was out there trying to hurt someone (as Burfict seemed to be). It isn't right to lump Pacman and Burfict together. I'm still a Pacman fan.

Lgm!

Pittsburgh would like to thank you guys for producing that degenerate scumbag.
