Did anyone else know that? Lada Gaga posted it earlier today.

I saw that today. Gaga's boyfriend (or maybe ex, I have no idea), Taylor Kinney, also graduated from WVU.

Gaga did a fine job! I can't say the same for Beyonce. She pushed it way too far. I wonder if the Soup Bowl folks knew she was going to come out with that type of show? If they did, I have attended my last Soup Bowl!

If you want to see what Mama Gaga looks like today -- still a stunner -- it's in the article I wrote about her on my Monongah High Alumni blog.

Go to

to see the photos of Mama Gaga and read the article.

Mamma Gaga - Maiden name was Cindy Bissett. She grew up in McMechen WV and her high school years in Glen Dale WV. Graduated with her in 72 from John Marshall High School. Cindy was always a class act and very nice person.

Very cool. Gaga has an incredible voice. I never listened to her music until I heard an interview on Sirius where she played stripped down( not naked) only her playing a piano. She can hang with Billy joel and Elton john if she ever went that route.

They talk about it a lot on the Blue Lot, a few of the guys know the family. Boy they didn't like it when I wasn't impressed with her singing the other night. She's really talented but I wasn't that excited over that song for her.
I hate country music and still like Brad Paisley more than her.

I too hate country music. Today's version only. I happen to like Texas music but .......... I understand that most folks don't know what Texas music really is. I don't like much of any music since about 1995.....................except what you find in Texas. They stream Texas music on 95.3 (The Range) out of Plano, TX. Give it a try.

Is Flaco Jimenez still alive, Warez? He and Freddie Fender were a helluva pair, when they hooked up with Doug Sahm and Augie Myers to form the Texas Tornados they lifted Conjunto music to a new level.

As far as I know Leonardo (Flako) is still kicking and maybe even recording some. Of the Texas singer/musicians I like....... Joe Ely, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Robert Earl Keene, Guy Clark, Delbert McClinton, Brian Burns, etc. My favorite is Fred Eaglesmith who happens to be from Canada. Fred is the best out there and has been putting on his steam show 250 nights a year for 30 years or more. By the way............go and listen to Fred sing White Rose on YouTube...............

She's 1 hell of a singer. Did anyone see her performance at the Oscars last year when she sang "Sound of Music". It was crazy good.

With that said, wasn't big on her National Anthem performance. But then again, I never am in these big events. These celebrities do not understand how to correctly sing our National Anthem. They want to show off their voice, slow down the song big time. They get cute.

IMO, Canadians are the best at singing our National Anthem. I say this from being a big hockey fan. Whenever an American team plays at a Canadian team, they sing both anthems and vice versa when they play in USA. But when the Canadians sing it,they sing it normal. It's not their anthem, so they don't get cute with it. They keep the correct tempo. Good/fairly quick pace but not too fast.

I'm in for Gaga singing the National Anthem or even Country Roads at Mountaineer Field.

& then we go out & kick OU's, Baylor's or TCU's ass.

Considering her ties, knowledge and apparent admiration for mom being a WVU cheerleader, and for grandmom's support, I wouldn't rule out the possibility.

Shane, get on the phone & work your magic. Talk about exposure & pub for the school.

My IGNORE list is getting lengthy. I have noticed that the longer the list gets the easier this board is to read.

Ole' Warez and Torontoeers never on the list, too much to learn... and the pickles.

GeorgiaBoy (I call everyone either Boy or Carl)...................the womanses love ole Warez cause I owns the pickle farm that TorontoEERs runs. I can use a mans like you on the farm. I can pay you hunnardts! Hunnardts!

Ignore everyone and your opinion will never be disputed.

I guess that's better than sharing your opinion and the majority of posters pointing out that you're making an ass of yourself.

Got a cousin in Temple, TX that could use the money. Pickle farm close to there?

Me, I'm set and don't need to work. Put the good education from WVU to work for me and made my bones.

But I'll take pickles when I can get 'em.

There's a rumor about Gaga being born on a pickle farm, I believe.

Darth..................I loved The Lady and her mother............and still have feelings for boff'em. So, this cat must remain cool. By the way, I logged off the board as TexasforevEER and could not log back on. I know my password and entered it correctly. What gives? Warez

James McMurtry is another good Texas singer/songwriter. Hard to beat Robert Earl.

Yes, with regard to Texas singer/musicians.............the road goes on forever and the party never ends!
