1. Her mom was a WVU cheerleader (1974/5/6 era) Cynthia Bissett
2. Her grandmother still resides in West Virginia
3. Interesting that she released a version of her hit song "Born This Way" as "Born This Way (Country Road Version)". Is this an indirect reference to her West Virginia heritage?
4. Her fiancé, Taylor Kinney, also attended WVU but did not graduate.
