Just spoke to Morgantown PD and I can confirm that West Virginia defensive lineman Kyle Rose was arrested a little after 2 AM on Sunday morning April 5th. Rose was arrested outside a downtown bar on Chestnut Street. He was charged with public intoxication, disorderly conduct, obstructing an officer and battery on an officer. All four charges are misdemeanors.
Dana Holgorsen is aware the situation.
Through team SID Mike Montoro, Holgorsen released a statement:
"We are aware of the situation and the matter will be handled internally."
Montoro says like all students, Rose could face student disciplinary charges.
