KSU game is a sellout

I'm having family from out of state visiting for the weekend. Usually they time their visit so we can go to the WVU game. This time they want to go to Blackwater Falls so I may not get to even watch our game on TV, which would mean I'd miss my first Mountaineer game in years.

Last home game I missed was 11/17/2001....WVU was 3-6, going into the game against Temple, in the 2nd to last game and home game of the year.

I had followed PHS Big Reds to every game (home and away)...It was a playoff game and Riverside decided to have the game on Saturday instead of Friday. I hated to do it, but I chose to go to the Big Reds game. WVU's season was done, but I listened to them lose to Temple on my headset while watching the Big Reds beat Riverside.

I went to WVU's last game, the following week, to root for and watch them lose to Pitt.

I have a heck of a streak going...90 home games in a row, give or take?

My late Aunt was voted Big Red Fan of the Year a few times. Her and my grandmother never missed a PHS game regardless of where it was or the weather. Now my Aunt's daughter is trying to fill those shoes.

Will never come close to that. Can't remember the last Big Reds game I've gone to. I'm boycotting the current coach. A terrible coach who refuses to step down.

That's what Sundays are for.

Just had a sellout old man. Does it suck living with Alzheimer's?

Maybe if you guys played some more teams with a pulse you could have more sold out games. Once a year isn't enough to pay the bills.

my nephew plays for St Marys...they curb stomped Marietta and then Marietta stomped the big reds.....what has the world come to?

but but but WVU is down in season ticket sales. 2 of 3 games so far have been sold out ??? How can this be ????

Yes Herd fans do need to be taught about sell outs. This is their forth sold out game since they expanded to 38,000 plus. Note 2 were vs WVU.

There is a chance that WVU will have 4 sell outs this season, where it took the Herd 16 seasons to accomplish.
