Isn't there an exception granted to first year players when the coach leaves before the season starts regarding the kids status? He would have to sit, but I think he would still get the full five years to play four if he transfers.

He would be a nice addition, but who know if it happens. It's always fun to have something to speculate about waiting for the season to start.
