They bring up an $11,000,000 contract like its setting in his hand. That's over 3 years and that's before taxes (in CA where State & Federal are probably 50% minimum, agent fees, 3-4%, NFL players association dies & insurances 3%. All in all he's probably getting 43 cents on the dollar. Worst yet is the contract can be terminated and if before the first game of the season it's pretty much void and the players out.

Great gift to his mama. Smart not wasting it on cars and stupid stuff when an NFL career can be one play away from being over and the player being crippled or worse. Ask Mike Utley, Dennis Byrd, Daryl Stingley, and sadly that's not all. Not to mention the concussion effects down the road.
