Just curious on how the Texas flooding has affected FB venues there.

I think I remember reading last year that Baylor's new stadium was built at +8 feet above the Brazos river and I also think I heard that river was +8 feet above normal. What a travesty that would be if their brand new stadium was flooded so early on... or ever for that matter. Anyone have any info on this?

I live between Dallas and Fort Worth and ,naturally, there has been wall to wall coverage for the last week about the weather situation. No mention of any problems with the Baylor stadium, so I would assume they don't have any water issues.

That's good news, indeed!!

In other news.... ...people died.

....but yea, most/all the stadiums are good to go.

I wasn't minimizing the toll taken in human life on this situation. I was just curious on the effect on venues. People die every day for a variety of reasons and my heart goes out to those that lost loved ones or their property in way you may not ever understand. But, go ahead, make a statement about something I wasn't interested in knowing!
