I'm trying to catch up with a few of the West Virginia guys getting ready for the draft and I just spoke with Shaq Riddick on the phone. He's doing really well and has serious interest from about 10 different NFL teams. He's taken 10 visits and had one private workout. His private workout was with the Arizona Cardinals. He told me that all the teams that have spoken with him have a draftable grade on him, so he believes he'll be drafted. A few of the teams tell him that he has better measureables than projected first round DE Randy Gregory out of Nebraska. The one thing that stuck out to me was that he came to West Virginia wanting to play against better competition so he could garner more NFL attention and he says the move to transfer to WVU has paid off for him.
I'll have a lot more in an article, but wanted to fill you guys in there.
