A basketball recruiting dead period will take effect April 4-11. Essentially this won't have any impact on recruiting players but there can be no in person contact so players can't visit schools and coaches can't visit them. That means that visits will resume April 12 which is when you should see quite a bit of movement with officials. For example, UIC wing Toby Okani is already booked from April 12-14 and I expect they'll be more set soon.
