Scranton (Pa.) Lackawanna C.C. offensive tackle Isaiah Hardy picked up his first offer from West Virginia last night and he told me that it was a big one. The junior college offensive tackle started every game at Lackawanna during his true freshman season and has the ability to play either tackle spot. Hardy said he hadn't really talked much with West Virginia prior to the offer but since it happened he's had a big smile on his face. Originally from New Jersey, he did not qualify out of high school and right now he is scheduled to graduate in May, although he could take online classes in order to move that up to December. College coaches have been impressed with his ability to take coaching and he told me that he is completely wide open to all schools. Hardy plans to take all five official visits and wants to find a place he is comfortable. He did tell me that the offer from West Virginia meant a lot to him because it was his first and it was a big time program.
