I know I’m in the minority here, but as happy as I am for GG, I feel very bad for JTD. Guy is a competitor who put up with a LOT this year (drops and horrible protection amongst other things). He also never complained about any of it or how horrific our defense and most of the team was playing. Add in how impressive he was with his interviews and I was personally rooting for him as much as I have any QB that’s been here.
Clearly either the guy is hurt or his confidence is completely shot. Or both. Not sure what’s going on but the QB from early in the year seems to be long gone.
With that said, there is zero doubt the team favorite that is GG. The entire team had a huge spark and when he scored on the running TD, his teammates have not acted that excited all year. Those guys clearly respond way better with him in there.
