If Todd Bates gets the job that would leave Zac Alley as the defensive coordinator at Okie. Obviously he stays.
Hadn’t considered it but does Rod Smith get his first coaching gig? This imo, is huge. The Jax State quarterbacks have looked fabulous in the last two seasons. Would really want Smith here at least for start up. A bowl win would go a long way here.
Rod McDowell for the same reasons. His tailbacks have looked great and as most rb coaches are, he is probably the best recruiter on staff, especially in Alabama and Georgia, which we will need as one of three or four primary areas.
Looking at that last pic and I don’t want to pile on but man am I glad Rich came home. Jesus.

Candidates to replace Rich Rodriguez as Jacksonville State’s head football coach
After three seasons in Calhoun County, Jacksonville State coach Rich Rodriguez is headed home.
