It has been 47 days since President Applesauce stepped away from his campaign via the weirdest and most bizarre Presidential proclamation in US history.
The public has no idea whatsoever as to the actual circumstances of this event, other than it seems to have somehow involved extortion-like pressure from Vice President Velveeta.
The entire mainstream "journalism" industry is completely and blissfully silent and incurious on this matter, which is without exaggeration one of the very most important political events in US--perhaps world--history. But they really don't care enough to ask even a single question about it.
