NINE top 21 teams lost on the same day today, including #2, #3 and #7, while #10 West Virginia had a walk in the park game.

Parity has come to college basketball in a major way when more than one-third the elite teams lose on the same day.

The Big 12 tournament will be a madhouse, but March Madness will make it look sane by comparison.

Wow!

#2 Maryland lost to Wisconsin

#3 Oklahoma lost to #6 Kansas

#7 Virginia lost to Duke

#11 Oregon lost to Stanford

#13 Louisville lost to Notre Dame

#15 Texas A&M lost to LSU

#18 Purdue lost to Michigan

#21 Baylor lost to Texas Tech
#25 Wichita State lost to Northern Iowa

But:

#10 West Virginia demolished TCU with Jon Holton back

#14 Iowa State beat #24 Texas

Oklahoma State beat Kansas State in overtime

8th place Oklahoma State is at first place Kansas on Monday.

Tuesday, WVU goes to Texas, Iowa State visits Baylor, which can’t afford another loss, and Kansas State goes to TCU in a battle for the bottom.

To be fair. If the refs had called the 4 step walk on Duke at the end of the game uva walks out of Cameron with a win.
